The Bell County Museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. today through Saturday, with plush toys for youngsters such as bison, longhorns and armadillos and CDs related to the American West, the Civil War and more.

Gift givers also can purchase pioneer toys and crafts, paper dolls, and books related to Bell County and Texana.

Also featured in the store are the museum’s series of historic church replica ornaments.

This year’s ornament is of Iglesia Bautista Alfa y Omega Church of Temple, formerly Grace Methodist Church, and before that, First Evangelical United Brethren Church, established in 1877.

This ornament and the others in the series are available for $15 plus tax.

Museum members receive a 15 percent discount.

The museum, at 201 N. Main St. in Belton, will be closed Dec. 24 and 25.

For more information, call 254-933-5243.
