Bob Gilmore center events include free haircuts, movie

The men are cooking the monthly breakfast for $1, from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Bob Gilmore Senior Center. To receive a free haircut from 9 to 11:30 a.m. by Oscar Rampersaud, a licensed barber, you must sign in. New release movie, “Noah,” begins at noon. Popcorn served.

Chorus meets at 1 p.m. Thursdays to learn and rehearse hymns and standards in four-part harmony. Music at the piano with Al Scott, music director and member of the Texas Music Teachers Association, starts at 12:30 p.m.

There is no charge to join senior centers in Killeen. Residency is not a requirement.

The senior center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays at 2205 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., Killeen.
