Bob Gilmore center to mark the end of World War II

A celebration commemorating the end of World War II, also known as Victory Over Japan Day or V-J Day, is from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the Bob Gilmore Senior Center.

Join other seniors for games, music and goodies.

The senior center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2205 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.

Membership is free for people 55 and older, but you do need to fill out forms. Call 254-699-1717.
