Bob Gilmore Senior Center plans events this week

The following activities will be held at the Bob Gilmore Senior Center this week:

  • Carmen will give free haircuts to senior citizens from 9 to 11:30 a.m. today.
  • Movie day starts at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday with Louisa May Alcott’s “An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving” starring Jacqueline Bisset.
  • Every Wednesday, Linda Wells will be showing the strategies of sudoku.
  • Terri Daniel will teach a free class on beaded rings from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday. Sign up in advance at the office.
  • The Red Hats will meet at 1 p.m. Friday at Yank Sing Chinese restaurant. New members are welcome.
  • The senior center is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday at 2205 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd., Killeen.

Fill out the form and membership is free for people age 55 and older. Call 254-699-1717.
