The city of Killeen issued a boil water notice for residents and businesses in the following locations beginning at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday:

  • 104 to 214 Hallmark Ave.
  • 802 to 825 Southside Drive
  • 201 to 823 Evergreen Drive
  • 805 to 821 Florence Road

City crews will be replacing water valves and must turn off the water in order to complete the work.

Bryce Avenue, from Evergreen Drive to Florence Road, will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday so crews can access the water line.

Once the valve installations are complete, the line will be flushed and water samples will be tested.

Residents will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted.
