Bell County Water Control Improvement District No. 3 issued a boil water notice beginning today for all residents and businesses located north of the railroad tracks in Nolanville, including the Wildwood subdivision on the west side of town to Jack Rabbit Flats Road on the east side of town.

Contractors will be installing a water valve along Avenue H and must turn off the water to complete the work.

Water service will not be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today.

Once the valve installation is complete, lines will be flushed and water samples will be tested.

Residents in the affected areas should boil water for at least 2 minutes before consuming until the notice is lifted.
