A vehicle struck an electrical pole, causing more than 4,000 Harker Heights Oncor Electric Delivery customers to lose power Monday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Farm-to-Market 2410 and Cedar Knob Road, said Carl Green, an area manager for Oncor. Power was out from about 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. while Oncor worked to fix the pole. Police closed part of FM 2410 north of Cedar Knob to allow Oncor to repair the pole, a Harker Heights Police Department spokeswoman said.

She said the driver of the vehicle was “OK.”
