From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, the Killeen Independent School District and Texas A&M University-Central Texas will host a special education transition fair at the A&M-Central Texas campus in Warrior Hall.

About 250 high school students from eight area school districts, including the four Killeen ISD high schools are expected to attend, along with parents and educators.

During the morning, students will take part in classes to learn about resources connecting to transitioning out of school into the community. The afternoon will focus on sharing community resources with parents, educators and the rest of the community.
