COPPERAS COVE — The City Council will meet this evening to hold a number of public hearings and begin the process of finding a new city manager.

The council will review applications received for the position since it was posted Feb. 9.

Public hearings will be held during the meeting to discuss rezoning some properties to multifamily, and amend the city budget to fund new employees of the Economic Development Corporation.

The council is scheduled to vote on approving travel and revisions to ordinance 2015-24, the licensing agreement with the Chamber of Commerce, which would be designated Ordinance 2018-10.

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Technology Center, 508 S. Second St.
