COPPERAS COVE — Police arrested a man suspected of driving with a suspended license after they found methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Justice of the Peace John Guinn arraigned Devon Louis Sullivan on Thursday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams. Guinn set his bond at $10,000.

According to the arrest complaint, officers pulled over the vehicle Sullivan was driving in the 100 block of Wolfe Road at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday after he ran a stop sign.

Sullivan did not have a license with him, but police discovered it was suspended, the complaint stated. Placing Sullivan under arrest, officers inventoried the vehicle and discovered about 3.1 grams of a white crystal substance that tested positive as methamphetamine.
