Cove police investigate felony theft of $160,000

COPPERAS COVE — Police are investigating a felony theft that was reported Monday.

A Cove police spokesman said detectives are investigating an incident in which an estimated $160,000 was stolen.

The incident didn’t happen in Cove, but the victim lives in the city and reported the theft from the 2600 block of Post Oak Avenue about 10:30 a.m. Monday.

No further information was available Wednesday.
