The Central Texas College Culinary Arts Department will host a Patio Café Cuisine Nights Dining Experience on Friday featuring Southwestern cuisine. Dinner will be served from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Patio Café of the Student Center (Bldg. 106).
The meal starts with a poblano and potato soup ($8.50 or add a bowl to an entrée for $2.50 or a cup to an entrée for $1.50). The featured salad is gunslinger chicken salad with chipotle ranch dressing ($9.50). A house salad is available for $3.75, or free with an entrée.
Entrees for the evening are Southwestern Cornish game hen ($16.50), whole – pan-fried trout ($18) and an Indian taco ($13.50). Each entrée is served with a choice of two side dishes: yucca fries, Southwestern quinoa salad, spicy vegetable stir-fry and Rocky Mountain coleslaw.
Desserts are chocolate tres leche cake ($4.50) and an apple enchilada ($3.50).
