Central Texas College’s fine arts department will announce the winners of its annual Student Art Show competition during an opening at noon Thursday in the fine arts building.

The show features numerous student submissions in a variety of media including art metals, ceramics, digital photography, sculpture, jewelry, paintings and drawings. The entries were created by students in the visual arts classes during the current and fall semesters.

The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibit, which also is free, will be on display through May 1.
