Members of the Central Texas College Student Government Association hope to make a difference for some local charitable organizations by conducting a donation drive through the city of Killeen’s Make A Difference Day.

SGA is collecting a variety of items for the Option House Youth Center, the Hope Pregnancy Center and the American Red Cross. Needed items include birthday supplies such as candles, decorations, paper plates and napkins, wrapping paper and balloons.

Also needed are baby items such as bottles, diapers, blankets, bathing items as well as personal hygiene items, coloring books and crayons.

Donation boxes are located inside the CTC Student Lounge (Building 106). Donors can provide their contact information on the donation sheet for a chance to win a free lunch provided by SGA. The one who contributes the most items will win. Items should be donated by Thursday.

For more information, call the CTC Student Life office at 254-526-1259.
