Early voting continued Monday for area municipal and school board races in the May 10 election.

On Monday, 336 residents cast ballots in Killeen for the city’s municipal election and the Killeen school board race.

A total of 1,796 Killeen residents voted as of Monday evening.

Early voting ends today, with the city’s three polling sites open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In Heights, 51 residents cast votes Monday, bringing the early voting total to 488 votes.

A total of 109 voters have cast ballots in the Belton City Council and mayoral races since early voting began, city spokesman Paul Romer said.

Salado ISD’s total number of voters reached 455, up from 371 on Friday.

The number of ballots cast in Salado’s mayoral and board of aldermen races climbed to 344 on Monday from 285 on Friday.
