Experts to discuss Alzheimer’s research, care at conference

Alzheimer’s Symposium is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 30 at the Mayborn Convention Center, 3303 N. Third St., Temple.

The conference features experts in the field of Alzheimer’s research and care.

Speakers include Dr. Ron Devere, neurologist; retired Dr. Dewayne Nash; Dr. Linda Hitchcock, geriatrician; and a caregiver panel featuring specialists from Scott & White, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Central Texas Aging and Disability Resource Center.

The symposium is presented by the Alzheimer’s Association and Sodalis Elder Living. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and door prizes will be awarded.
