Feral hog workshop set for Friday in Gatesville

GATESVILLE — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Hamilton and Coryell counties will conduct a feral hog workshop Friday at the Gatesville Civic Center, 301 Complex Circle, Gatesville.

Program registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and should conclude by 12:30 p.m. The program includes a free lunch and is open to the public.

“This program is being held in the Leon River Watershed in Coryell and Hamilton counties as a part of their County Hog Abatement Matching Program, or CHAMP,” said Dan Gaskins, AgriLife Extension assistant.
