FORT HOOD — The Clear Creek Exchange is offering military children ages 4-12 the chance to receive Disney-approved Jedi training at 11 a.m. Saturday at the store.

During each session, the young Padawans will learn how to wield a lightsaber, train in the ways of the Force and receive an official certificate stating they have completed the training.

Robes and light sabers will be provided, though participants may show up in costumes of their own.

The Exchange offers events such as Jedi training to give military families a sense of community and an opportunity to make memories together that will last a lifetime.

An estimated 250 children will attend this event with fully-costumed “Star Wars” characters from the 501st Legion, an international “Star Wars”-costuming organization.

Military parents can register their children at the Clear Creek Exchange administration office or call 254-532-7200.
