The Harker Heights Community Garden will host “Fall Plant Maintenance” from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Harker Heights Activities Center, 400 Indian Trail. The free class will be led by Jacki Bakker, basic gardening for beginners instructor at Central Texas College.

Participants will learn what they need to start thinking about to have a successful, healthy fall garden.

The agenda will include how to select plants, how to plant them and how to take care of plants.
