The Central Texas Republican Women’s dinner meeting is Wednesday at the Wildflower Country Club in Temple. The featured speaker is former District 54 state Rep. Suzanne Gratia-Hupp.

Hupp became a champion for an individual’s right to carry a concealed handgun after her parents were killed in the 1991 Luby’s Massacre in Killeen. Her book, “From Luby’s to the Legislature: One Woman’s Fight Against Gun Control,” will be available for purchase.

Registration begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. The program starts at 7 p.m.

Dinner is $25 per person.

The meeting is open to the public, but reservations are required by Monday. RSVP by calling Zenia Warren at (254) 526-9305.
