HARKER HEIGHTS – A fire destroyed a vacant mobile home in the 100 block of North Roy Reynolds Drive on Saturday night.

A rental unit at Woodlawn Mobile Home Park was being repaired at the time of the fire, the release stated. No one was hurt in the blaze.

The Harker Heights Fire Department extinguished the fire about 7:50 p.m. after responding to a call about a structure fire, a news release stated.

Two ambulances and three fire trucks – one from Killeen – were sent. Crews put out the fire out within 20 minutes.

Fire Marshal Brad Alley is investigating the blaze.
