The Board of Directors of the Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana will celebrate its 37th anniversary with a formal banquet from 6 to 10:45 p.m. March 16 at Fort Hood’s Club Hood.

The crowning ceremony for the 2013 queen, Miss Marisol Sanchez-Bidot, will be held.

Entertainment will be provided by the Puerto Rican Kids Folklore. Group Soncache will be playing live, salsa, merengue, cumbias and more for dancing.

This event is open to the public and formal attire is required. Tickets are $30 per person and include dinner, entertainment, door prizes and dancing. A special price for nonprofit organizations is a table of 10 for $250.
