A firefighter who responded to a fire at a two-story building in Killeen on Saturday was released from a local hospital Monday afternoon.

Fire Chief Jerry Gardner initially said the firefighter was transported to the hospital after having difficulty breathing while assisting with the fire.

Most of the residents injured in the blaze were treated and released from the hospital Saturday, said Deputy Chief Leon Adamski.
