COPPERAS COVE — Two seats on the Cove ISD school board will remain filled by incumbents.

Place 6, currently held by Jim Copeland, and Place 7, currently held by Karen Harrison, were up for election Nov. 4. Both members filed to retain their seats. No one filed in opposition by the deadline Monday, so there will be no election, said Wendy Sledd, Copperas Cove Independent School District spokeswoman.

All school board positions are three-year terms and represent the entire school district.
