SALADO — Interstate 35 northbound and southbound lanes will be closed to all traffic through Salado from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday so work crews may place bridge beams for the new Thomas Arnold bridge.

All northbound traffic will take exit 283 (Farm-to-Market 2268/FM 2843) and re-enter the interstate just north of Salado’s Main Street.

All southbound traffic will take exit 285 (FM 2268/Main Street) and re-enter the interstate south of FM 2268.

During the closure, the crossings at Main Street and FM 2268 will be closed to help facilitate the flow of traffic.

Traffic will be one-way on all sections of the frontage road between FM 2268 and FM 2484. Eastbound traffic wanting to cross at these locations will need to take the southbound frontage road to FM 2115, make a U-turn and head north.

Westbound traffic wanting to cross at these locations will need to take the northbound frontage road to FM 2484, make a U-turn and head south.
