The boil water notices issued June 18 for residents and businesses in the following areas were lifted:

  • 402 to 413 Bryce Ave.
  • 420 W. Hallmark Ave.
  • 701 to 1002 Houston St.
  • 905 to 1017 San Antonio St.
  • 406 to 411 Short Ave.

Killeen crews had to shut off water service to replace a fire hydrant. Tests were completed, and the water is now safe to drink without boiling, the city said in a statement.
