The Killeen Police Department urges residents to safely dispose of unwanted and unused prescription drugs during the department’s annual Drug Take-Back Initiative.

Now through Monday, residents can leave unwanted drugs with the desk officer on duty in the lobby of the Killeen police headquarters, 3304 Community Blvd., or the desk officer on duty at the North Precinct, 402 N. Second St.

The Drug Enforcement Administration will later collect these items for proper disposal.
