Two people are being treated for burns after a fire erupted Saturday at a two-story building in the 100 block of West Dunn Avenue in Killeen.

Deputy Chief Leon Adamski said Tuesday both patients were being treated for first- and second-degree burns at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas.

One has burns on his hands, head and back, and the other has burns on his arm, elbow, foot, back and neck.

Investigators reported the cause of the fire was unattended cooking.
