Korean War memorial dedication Saturday

Don C. Faith Chapter 222 of the Korean War Veterans Association will dedicate a memorial at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery.

The monument is dedicated to the thousands of U.S. and Republic of Korea forces who served during the Korean War.

The guest speaker is retired Lt. Gen. H.G. “Pete” Taylor, former III Corps and Fort Hood commander. Combat veterans are asked to wear their uniforms. Call Edwin Maunakea at 254-634-7806 for more information. Assembly begins at 10:50 a.m. at the cemetery, 11463 State Highway 195, south of Killeen.
