Killeen police are searching for a man who broke into a Dollar General store on May 23.

Police have posted a video of the break-in where a suspect described as a black male between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds, forced entry into the 1303 Rancier Ave., business.

The suspect’s hair is styled in braided cornrows. During the break-in, he was wearing a black T-shirt with red-and-white lettering, faded blue denim shorts and black-and-red tennis shoes.

The suspect can be seen breaking a glass panel of the business’ front door by hitting it with a rock at 11:03 p.m. He entered and left the business after roughly 90 seconds.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this burglary to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers by calling (254) 526-8477, going online to www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or texting BELLCO along with the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).

All tips are confidential and can be made anonymously. A tip that results in the arrest of the suspect may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
