The Killeen Police Department is investigating a robbery in a local motel parking lot early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a report of an aggravated robbery at 4:28 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of East Central Texas Expressway.

Upon arrival, two victims said they were sitting in their pickup when three armed black males, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, approached both sides of the truck and demanded money, according to a KPD news release. The suspects ran to a metallic lime green four-door Sedan that was waiting with a driver. They fled from the parking lot and were last seen traveling east on Central Texas Expressway.

The victims were not injured.

Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the vehicle or knows anything about the suspects or the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477.
