Lampasas County Judge Wayne Boultinghouse lifted the county’s burn ban Tuesday morning after the area received several inches of much-needed rain. County commissioners will review the ban again Sunday.

“Our 90-day burn ban was scheduled to expire this Sunday anyway,” Boultinghouse said. “Since it’s so wet and rainy right now, the ban is lifted, and the commissioners will meet Monday to consider re-instating it.”
