A Gatesville man pleaded guilty to child pornography charges, according to a statement released Tuesday by Coryell County District Attorney Dusty Boyd.

Timothy Dale Meske, 42, of Gatesville, entered a guilty plea Monday to three counts of possession of child pornography, a third-degree felony. Meske will serve the maximum sentence of 10 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division, with each count to be served consecutively.

According to information released by Boyd’s office, Meske was arrested in January after Gatesville police received a call from a woman who reportedly saw pornographic images, some allegedly of underage children, on his cellphone.
