Central Texas Master Naturalists will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Belton Church of Christ, 3003 N. Main St. The public is invited.

“Poison Ivy: Differentiating Myth from Fact” will be presented by Texas Parks & Wildlife Park Ranger Yvonne Eele.

The chapter is a partner of Miller Springs Alliance and helps with clearing trails and eradicating invasive plants at the Miller Springs Nature Center at Belton Lake.

Texas Stream Team monitoring is popular with chapter members. Places along Nolan Creek are checked monthly. The public can take part in the Stream Team monitoring by attending a free workshop.
