Tommy Schroeder, the longtime Killeen businessman who grew the Mickey’s convenience store chain from one store to 17, has died. He was 73.
Schroeder, who was the CEO and president of the company, died Wednesday morning of heart failure, said his daughter, Karen Walinder, secretary and treasurer of the Central Texas company.
