A new season of the Patio Café Cuisine Nights Dining Experience opens at Central Texas College on Friday with New England cuisine from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center (Bldg. 106).
The meal starts with an appetizer and soup – cod cakes ($4.50), New England clam chowder ($9.50 for a bowl or $2 for a cup with an entree). The featured salad is an apple cider mesclun with sea scallops ($9.50). A house salad is available for $4.50 or free with an entrée.
The evening’s entrees are stuffed flounder ($14.50); turkey cutlet ($10.50); New England boiled dinner (corned beef brisket served with cabbage, red potatoes and carrots — $14). Entrees (except for the New England dinner) are served with a choice of two side dishes. Choose from maple baked beans, green beans with fried onions, mashed sweet potatoes or glazed beets.
Try Boston cream pie ($4) or apple Betty ($3.50) for dessert.
