A new organization in Killeen aiming to unite stay-at-home mothers will host a chapter launch event from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Lions Club Park.

MOMS Club of Killeen is open to mothers, and will fall under the umbrella of MOMS Club International.

“The purpose of MOMS Club is to provide at-home moms with social and service opportunities that they can engage in with their children,” said club President Christina Stokley. “The decision to stay at home with her children shouldn’t isolate a woman from the world.”
