GATESVILLE — The two newest members of the Coryell County Economic Development Board introduced themselves at the board’s regular session Monday.

Attorney Mary Beth Harrell and retired business executive Sam Golden took their seats on the seven-member board for the first time since being approved by the county commissioners court.

Harrell, a former prosecutor who has a private practice in Bell and Coryell counties, fills an at-large seat on the board. Her term expires in 2017.

Golden, a successful businessman active in economic development for many years in Gillespie County, has retired to the Cowhouse Creek Ranch near Pidcoke. He was picked to complete the unexpired board term in Precinct 4, which expires next year.
