New Year’s hike in Mother Neff park

Join Park Ranger Marianne Van Houtte on New Year’s Day for a hike at Mother Neff State Park in Moody. Beginning at 2 p.m., she will guide participants over 4 miles of trails and explain the benefits of walking for your health.

Nothing fancy is required, just a comfortable pair of shoes and a water bottle. There is no charge for the guided hike; however, park entrance fees do apply. For more information, call 254-853-2389 or go to http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/findadest/parks/mother_neff/
