Police ask for help catching vandals

COPPERAS COVE — Police are seeking information about numerous vehicles being vandalized in the areas of Vernice and Isabelle drives.

A large number of incidents included damage to vehicle exteriors by unknown means, stated a news release from Copperas Cove Police Department. The first incident was reported Monday with additional reports Tuesday and Wednesday.

Repair costs for the vehicles is estimated at $15,000.

While Cove police continue to investigate, officers are asking for information that could assist with identifying those responsible. Contact Copperas Cove Crime Stoppers at (254) 547-1111 or go to www.tipsubmit.com.
