Salado ISD blood drive, health fair set for today

The Salado ISD Health Fair and Blood Drive with Scott & White Healthcare Blood Donor Center is from 9 to 11 a.m. today at 550 Thomas Arnold Road, Salado.

All August blood donors will receive: a free blood donor T-shirt, a coupon for a free No. 1 meal deal (four tenders, fries, gravy, roll, large drink) from participating Bush’s Chicken locations, and a chance to win two tickets to a University of Texas football game. All donors must be at least 17 and weigh 110 pounds. Photo ID is required. For more donor eligibility information, go to www.sw.org/blood-center/donor-eligibility.
