A man accused of breaking into a Killeen woman’s apartment and holding her at gunpoint was arrested Monday by Temple police, a Killeen Police Department spokeswoman said.

Courtney Devonee Holloway, 36, forced his way into an apartment at 1107 Leslie Circle Sunday night and threatened the woman living there with a gun, according to the victim’s statement to police. Around 11 a.m. Monday, the woman was able to flee the apartment and contact the police, according to a KPD news release.

KPD’s Tactical Response Unit entered the apartment but was unable to find the suspect.

KPD spokeswoman Carroll Smith said Monday night Temple police had taken the suspect into custody.
