Killeen police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a Killeen liquor store Tuesday morning.

Police are looking for a tall, thin black male who broke into the Point Liquor No. 5 in the 900 block of South Fort Hood Street about 9 a.m. Tuesday. Police have surveillance footage of the suspect taken from another business where he can be seen carrying more than 100 lottery tickets taken from the business, police spokeswoman Tina Amerson said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about this burglary to contact Bell County Crime Stoppers by calling (254) 526-8477, going online to www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or texting BELLCO along with the tip to 274637 (CRIMES).

All tips are confidential and can be made anonymously. A tip that results in the arrest of the suspect may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
