Eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway 190 will close between 7 p.m. today and 7 a.m. Friday to allow crews to safely restripe the roadway for the Rosewood Overpass project.
Eastbound traffic will be routed through frontage roads between the Knight’s Way/Farm-to-Market 2410 exit and Harker Heights.
The closure will not impact westbound traffic but motorists are encouraged to exercise caution, Killeen officials said.
The $32 million project will raise U.S. 190 over Rosewood Drive and widen U.S. 190 from four lanes to six lanes.
Rosewood Drive will be extended from Fawn Drive to FM 2410 north of U.S. 190.
Officials estimate completion of the project in fall 2015.
