The United Way of the Greater Fort Hood Area announced Matt Maxfield as this year’s campaign chairman for the United Way of the Greater Fort Hood Area.

Maxfield joined Seton Medical Center Harker Heights as the CEO in April 2011.

Before joining Seton and LHP Hospital Group, Maxfield served as CEO of Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

He and his wife, Liz, have two children, Brett, a senior at Texas Tech University, and Macie, a freshman at the University of Texas.

The Campaign Kickoff Luncheon is set for 11:30 a.m. Sept. 5 at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.

Maxfield will reveal this year’s campaign goal as well as recognize the Pacesetters.

Radio personality Joe Lombardi will serve as the master of ceremonies.
