TEMPLE — The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System hosts a mental health summit from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive in Temple.

The summit is for police officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, mental health staff, veterans county service officers, mayors, city council members, judges and any agency representative who works with veterans.

Participants will discuss ways to engage with Veterans Affairs to enhance the quality of mental health and well-being for veterans and their families, a news release stated. For more information, contact Leslie Dickerson at 254-743-2171 or at leslie.dickerson@va.gov.
