Vendors sought for Spring Festival

The Texas Heritage Committee’s second Spring Festival is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 11 at the Killeen Community Center.

Christian singer Christopher MorethanMe Newton will perform at 11 a.m. in memory of the victims of the plant explosion in West and the Boston Marathon bombings.

The festival features craft and food vendors, the Maidens of Mystery Filipino/Polynesian dancers, singer Chayla Williams of Houston and Megan Blair from the area.

Jason Custer and the Outsiders, the Red Dirt Ramblers, Stoneface Cowboys, Guadalupe Pirates and the Mistress Derringer Band also will perform.

The festival is free.

Spaces for craft and food vendors are available.

To sign up, go to texasheritagecommittee.com and fill out the application under the vendor tab.

Applications also can be picked up at the Killeen Community Center, 2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.

Sign up before May 3 at a reduced fee.
