The 13th annual Bell County Water Symposium begins at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 14 at the Central Texas Council of Governments Building, 2180 N. Main St., Belton.

John Nielsen-Gammon, Texas state climatologist and regents professor at Texas A&M University, will give the keynote presentation.

Topics include:

· Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District annual update.

· Status of surface water supply in Central Texas and future water plans.

· Lampasas River Watershed Partnership update.

The public is invited, and there is no charge to attend.
