The Texas Department of Transportation will change traffic patterns on Copperas Cove’s west end of the U.S. Highway 190 bypass project today.

Eastbound and westbound U.S. 190 traffic will be diverted to the newly created U.S. 190 and Farm-to-Market 2657 roadway.

The traffic change will allow work to be completed on the access road for businesses and residents in the area. The $43 million highway project began July 2011 and is scheduled for completion this summer.
