HARKER HEIGHTS — A Thursday morning crash sent a woman to the hospital.

About 9:56 a.m. Thursday, a pickup truck traveling west on East Central Texas Expressway failed to yield to a Nissan Maxima driving east on Edwards Drive, and struck the car, said Nolanville Police Chief Gary Kent.

The crash happened on the Heights-Nolanville border, and sent the female driver of the Maxima to Seton Medical Center-Harker Heights with non-life-threatening injuries.
